Tried giving them two chances and both times were a massive fail! First attempt we waited over an hour to be seated when they bumped several parties ahead of us we left! Next time around the place was practically empty and still waited twenty minutes to be seated! Food was cold as expected since it took fourty five minutes to be delivered to our table! And the waitress never came back to check on us or bring us a bill we finally had to walk up to the register to get our bill paid in total we were there almost two hours! I don't expect top notch service at a chain restaurant but I do expect some service!

Moons over my hammy! What more can I say? Oh, I know - be prepared to wait for around an hour for your food at this location. All employees were nice and food tasted great, but service was too slow considering that the restaurant was nearly empty. Room temperature was cold, but they made up for it with free refills on the hot cocoa.

The only saving grace most of the time at this restaurant location is the food is very good. But the wait staff is very slow and lacking in the ability to get people seated. More of that may have to do with the management. This location needs to find a balance of quality, quantity and speed of service. Otherwise it is a good experience.

Not sure why this place has such terrible reviews, my experience was hardly as bad as everyone is making this place out to be. It's a Denny's, so there's that. Don't go in expecting some fancy meal, this is franchised diner food. Period. (My rating is based on this as a Denny's, compared to other Denny's. In the grand scheme of food, it's one-star, but if you're coming to Denny's, you know what you're getting into!) Our waitress was kind and attentive, my breakfast was the same 'ole standard fare I expect at any other Denny's, and my bacon was perfectly crisped just how I like it. This is no outrageous culinary experience to write home about, but if you're traveling along the highway and have a hankering for some greasy diner grub, this'll do!

This is definitely a 1-2 star place and I will explain why, the hostess was really nice (5-stars) but it took the waitress approximately 20 minutes to come take our order (that's only because we had to flag the hostess down). The food was ok, but the overall experience was 2 stars. I am a firm believer in first impressions.

Waited an hour for our food and still nothing. Service here sucks like a vacuum. Sitting here wondering if there are "other" reasons our service is non existent. After all it is a town in the "middle America". :(. Decided to go to the mcdonalds across the street. N

Not to much to say about a Denny's that we don't already know. But this location here in cedar city is a refreshing additive to this small city. All of the staff are youthful, energized and very pleasant. A definite upside for a quick rest stop along the highway.

The ice water was warmer than the air in the restaurant. A mere 42 degrees inside is not warm enough. I realize that the staff is running around but the customers shouldn't be that uncomfortable. On top of that, one waiter had hiccups while taking our order and was telling us how he fixes the hiccups but he came back twice still with hiccups. Meanwhile, a waitress whose face couldn't be seen because it was covered in disheveled hair and piercings was skipping around the restaurant, whistling along to the music. She wasn't exactly light on her feet. And the older female cook yelled, dinged and constantly yelled to the waiter and waitress across the restaurant through our entire meal. I realize it's Denny's, but this was really just that bad. The one benefit? I could use my sizzlin' skillet (which overcooked my eggs) as a miniature fireplace.

The service was great. Our order came quickly and was quite good. The coffee was pretty good, and the waitress kept it full. The best dinner coffee we have found in town. The place was clean and overall service was great.

I've been coming to this Denny's off an on for several years. Sometimes the service sucks, and sometimes it's great. I'll keep coming back because the people there are nice. That's it.

We were seated right away... at a dirty table. Our waiter finally brought the drink order that the hostess took 10 minutes before, he promptly disappeared without asking if we were ready to order, which we were. All we wanted was a bowl of soup and some nachos. Easy order!! After waiting another 20 minutes with no attention we left $2 on our table to pay for the drink we didn't drink and left. I won't be going back anytime soon.

Stopped here on the way back home from the Christmas holidays. We were seated promptly. The service after that was completely horrible. It took about 15 minutes for our drinks to be brought to us. Our food was served about 45 minutes after we ordered. The server forgot to bring toast for one of my family members meals so we asked for it. He then went two tables down and had a twenty minute conversation with other customers. It really doesn't take that long to toss two pieces of toast in a toaster. My family member was pissed off and asked another waitress if his meal came with toast, she was surprised that he was so upset but quickly brought the toast. They really need to find a new manager because the current one obviously doesn't select the best people to work there. As for the waiter, Kasey you don't need to be having twenty minute conversations if you can't do your job. This is by far the worst Denny's that I have ever been to and I will never stop there again.
